Fried Rice

Fried Rice, simple and easy

Ingredients:

2 cups cooked/ left-over brown rice

1/8 teaspoon salt

2 to 3 tablespoons cooking oil

2 eggs , beaten

6 to 8 cloves garlic, minced

1 small can (4.7 ounces) Vienna sausage , sliced

½ cup sweet green peas

1/8 cup chopped green onion


Instructions:

Add and mix the salt to the cooked left-over rice . Set aside.

Heat the pan then add 1 ½ tablespoon cooking oil.

Fry the beaten eggs, then cut up into small pieces. Remove from the pan . Set aside.

Add 1 ½ tablespoons cooking oil to the pan. Fry the minced garlic for about less than one minute.

Add the sliced Vienna sausage to one side of the pan and fry for about one minute.

Stir fry the Vienna sausage and garlic together until the garlic turns light brown.

Add the rice and stir fry with the Vienna sausage and garlic for about 1 1/2 minutes.

Add the sweet green peas and stir fry for 1 minute or until done.

Add the cut up scrambled eggs. Mix well.

Add the chopped green onion. Mix. Add salt as desired.

Remove the cooked fried rice from the pan and serve.

Tips:

Use ¼ teaspoon soy sauce instead of 1/8 salt if you will use white rice instead of brown rice.

You can substitute other ingredients- example:

corn for sweet green peas

hot dog or meat loaf for Vienna sausage
